Steam distillation apparatus used for the exhaustive distillation of pesticides and industrial chemicals from water, sediments and tissue and the simultaneous liquid-liquid extraction of the distillate by a small volume of organic solvent. After the distillation/extraction procedure the extract is generally suitable for direct gas-liquid chromatography analysis without the time consuming concentration and clean-up procedures.

Top joint is29/42 outer, bottom joint24/40 inner, stopcock plug is 2 mm, PTFE plug. Complete unit includes one ebullator.
