The basic system consists of a flask, column, condenser and receiver. The complete system consists of the basic system described above with a foam breaker, anti-drip chain, adapter and kovar-tipped thermocouple. The long neck 500mL round bottom flask has a thermowell and a35/25 socket joint. The column hasball joints for connection to the flask and condenser, and a19/38 outer joint for the adapter and thermocouple. The foam breaker hangs in the column. The condenser has a35/20 socket on the side and a35/25 ball joint at the bottom. The drip chain hangs to a point 5mm below the 10mL graduation of the receiver which has a35/25 socket, a large stable base, a full cooling jacket and is graduated 200mL x 2mL.
