BP-1951

Tetrahydrofuran (THF) which is widely used as a mobile phase for GPC, attacks the CTFE components and Viton® O-rings of the standard CHROMWARE systems. THF-resistant version of the five valve integrated system are shown below.
The integrated five valve cap system is made THF-resistant by: (1) replacing the CTFE valve stems with ETFE; (2) replacing all PTFE/Polypropylene O-rings with Kalrez® O-rings; and (3) replacing standard inlet filters with stainless-steel filters.
