DescriptionSimilar to LG-8875 series heating mantles. Aluminum housing with quartz fabric, wired for high wattage and suitable for temperatures up to 650° C. Useful for distillation and fractionation processes, especially when time is important. Higher temperature range allows operations such as rapid distillation of water and liquid-phase cracking in a flask, where the products are removed through a column.
Sizes up to LG-8887-118 , inclusive, are supplied with a 4 foot, 3-wire cord and locking connector. LG-8887-120 and LG-8887-122 are supplied with a terminal box.
