These tubes, with a fritted disc at an angle of 90°, are used to disperse or scrub gas in liquids. The size of gas bubbles depends upon the porosity of the fritted disc and the liquid used. The finer porosity discs give smaller bubbles; however, greater gas pressure is required. The approximate overall dimension across the disc and stem is 35mm for a 20mm disc and 45mm for a 30mm disc.
